Make That Change
People have often told me that they were going to make certain changes in their life. Years later, the same people tell me that they are going to make those same changes. Albert Einstein said the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and getting the same result, but expecting a different one.
Change can sometimes be scary, but even scarier is allowing fear to stop you from growing, evolving and progressing. Complaining will not change things in your life; only action will. If you have time to complain, then you have time to do something about it. The only thing complaining does is convince other people that you are not in control.
When looking for that one person who can change your life for the better forever…look no further than the mirror, and believe in that person. That is the person who knows you best. That is the person who can make it happen.
You become what you think about most often. When you believe in yourself, you have 100% of the people you need on your side. You, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love, attention, and affection. Know that there is something inside you that is greater than any obstacle. You are not a by product of what has happened to you in the past, you are a product of what you choose to become.
You can’t expect to make drastic changes overnight, it takes time. Instead, focus on making one small change at a time. Over time, those small changes will add up to big transformation. Don’t give up, perseverance is the key. Remember, perseverance is the hard work you continue to do after you get tired of doing the hard work you already did. Continue to persevere, for you, you deserve the very best version of yourself and the quality of life that comes with being the best you.
