Choose The Good Life

I firmly believe that everything that happens in your life happens because it’s suppose to happen. If you hold on to the certainty that things will eventually turn out for your overall best interest, it will significantly reduce the stress and worry that you may
experience from day to day, stressing and worrying about certain things.

Life happens. People in your life will sometimes change so that you can let go when it’s time for you to do so, and again, it will be in your overall best interest. Sometimes things will go wrong so that you can truly appreciate them when they are right, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together. Be careful not to spend so much time focusing on the closed doors in your life that you can’t see the open doors right in front of you.

So even when things in your life become hectic, and they sometimes will, don’t forget the importance of a positive attitude and your smile. Your smile is your logo, your positive attitude is your business card, and how you leave others feeling after having an experience with you becomes your trademark. I cannot begin to express the importance of treating others with kindness whenever possible; I believe it’s always possible. People may forget what you say to them, but they will never forget how you made them feel.

Do your best to accept what is; it reduces stress, let go of what was; not allowing negative past events to dim your light, and have faith in what will be; positive thinkers will have positive life experiences. If past events are keeping you down emotionally, just wake up one day and decide that you do not want to feel like that anymore, or ever again…and simply change…Just Like That. You don’t find the happy life, you make it.

While your beliefs are very important, your beliefs don’t make you a better person; your behavior does. Make a conscious decision to live and experience the good life. Know that you deserve to experience the good life. When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. When speaking of others, speak positive of them, choose not to speak negatively of them, for by doing so will benefit neither them or yourself. The negativity that you send out will return to you.

Strive to look for something positive in each day, even if you have to look a little harder on some days. Thinking positive isn’t about expecting the best to happen every time, but accepting that whatever happens is the best for this moment. The best things in life are the people you love, and who love you, the places you’ve seen, and the memories you’ve made along the way. Choose to continue to make great memories, choose the good life.
